The Intel® Pro/100 VE LAN drivers are supplied pre-installed on your computer. The drivers can also be located on your computers hard disk drive. To access them, please refer to the recovery section for more information. Installation Instructions | - The driver is a .zip file, open the file in Windows® XP (by double clicking on it) and click on Extract All Files from the blue bar on the left of the window as shown below:
- Extract all of the files to a folder on the hard drive by clicking browse as shown:
- Click Start and then Control Panel
- Click Switch to classic view and double click System
- Select the Hardware tab and click on Device manager
- Click the + located next to network adapter
- Double click on the Intel (R) Pro 100/VE network adapter
- Click Driver
- Click Update Driver
- Click Next
- Windows will locate the driver on your computers hard disk drive.
- Follow the on screen instuctions to complete the process.
